Using the Golf Ball Washer (on the Golf Course)
1. Find the Ball Washer
Sometimes the trash cans
are attached, sometimes not. The top part of the ballwasher is what
we're interested in. The black ball on top is the handle; the green,
metal body contains water and, usually, a detergent solution. Bristles
within the body of the ballwasher scrub away dirt and grass.
2. Life the Handle of the
Ball Washer
Grasp the black ball on top
of the handle and lift straight up. A plastic, curving arm extends
upwards.
3. Place Ball into Washer
and Move Up and Down
The hole near the base of
the plastic, curving arm is where your ball goes. Place your ball into
that aperture, then move the arm up and down so that your ball goes down
into and back up out of the body of the ballwasher. With each
repetition, your ball is being scrubbed clean by bristles within the
ballwasher.
4. Remove Ball from the
Ball Washer
When your ball is clean,
tap it on one side and it falls out of the aperture, onto the top of the
ballwasher.
5. Dry
A towel should be attached
to the ballwasher. Use this towel (or any other) to dry your ball.
